Seeking A Civil Engineer, Carpenters, and Laborers in Mt. Airy, NC

If you are a Civil Engineer, Carpenter, or Laborer with the right skills and a heart in the right place, you can be a great asset to Camp Andrew. You will be building cabins for our Summer Camp in Mt. Airy, NC. Our Summer Camp is being built around the vision that children and youth deserve to know God and keep him close to their hearts. If you are a skilled professional and share our vision, you may be just the right expert for our project.

Build Beautiful Cabins & Structures Surrounded By God’s Nature

We are proud of the beautiful surroundings that we have around our property, and we strive to transform it into the paradise that the young will love to spend time in while learning about God. Our cabins will be nested amidst all this natural abundance, creating an atmosphere of great faith. The cabins and our Summer Camp will also be promoting the health and well-being of everyone who will be visiting and spending time here.

We require a Civil Engineer to lead a team of Carpenter and Laborers who will all be working to build our camp that will include:

• A Chapel
• Multiple Cabins
• Mess Hall
• Various structures for accommodating all our guests

Besides these main structures, we may also plan equipment and supplies storage facilities, boat and canoe enclosures, and group gathering space or shade structures.

Activities On Our Property

The above-mentioned will be the main structures that you will be building in Camp Andrew. We believe that it will be helpful if you also know about the activities that will be taking place on our property. A wide variety of traditional and fun activities will be offered in our Summer Camp including:

• Canoeing
• Fishing
• Archery
• Creek Stomping
• Arts & Crafts
• Rope Course

This should give you a pretty good idea of what additional structures we may require.

What Do We Expect From You?

We seek a Civil Engineer, Carpenter, and Laborers who are experienced enough in building the above-mentioned structures. We expect the following from the Civil Engineer who will assist us with all the stages of the project, from initial conceptualization to planning to construction:

• Knowledge of regulations & building code for relevant structures in a summer camp
• Knowledge of relevant insurance
• Years of experience in design, planning, and execution

We are seeking experience in the design and building of outdoor structures.

You will be creating a place where children and youth will come to play with each other while learning about and experiencing God. So, we want you to know that you will be a part o a special mission. We expect you to have the right experience, skills, knowledgebase, dedication, and faith in God.
